Uno dei più grandi valori, per i bambini che vivono nei piccoli paesi, è la libertà in cui possono crescere e giocare. Dopo la scuola, Federico, Jacopo e Robertodecidono di trascorrere il pomeriggio a esplorare l’altopiano sopra il paese. Siallontanano dall’abitato e attraversano le campagne con le loro biciclette, per poi abbandonarle appena devono giocare alla guerra e sfidarsi nelle prove di coraggio. Si perdono nei terreni incolti finché non vengono sorpresi dalla pioggia, che li costringe a ripararsi in una capanna. Ben presto il freddo e la noia li spingeranno a rimettersi in cammino per cercare la strada di casa.
One of the greatest values, for children who live in small towns, is the freedom in which they can grow and play. After school, Federico, Jacopo and Roberto decide to spend the afternoon exploring the plateau above the village. They leave the town and cross the countryside with their bicycles, and then abandon them as soon as they have to play the war and challenge each other in the tests of courage. They get lost in the wasteland until they are surprised by the rain, which forces them to take shelter in a hut. Soon the cold and boredom will push them back on their way to find their way home.
